History of Succat Hallel

On February 7th, 2000 the first public meeting was held at Rick & Patti’s home in Jerusalem. The original pattern was three morning meetings a week – 6 hours – only 162 more hours to go!! After several months the Lord had begun to supply more worship and intercession leaders to us and we slowly added meetings (we call them watches) to the schedule. In the spring of 2002 we held our first internship and also dedicated our first “meeting room”… a soundproofed basement!

By the summer of 2004 we had progressed to about 80 hours per week. In September of 2004 the Lord spoke to us that we would progress to 24/7 (168 hours per week) by the end of the year!

In October the Lord opened the doors for us to lease a facility that would meet our needs. The Lord also sent more people to help with administration, housekeeping and watch leading.

By the beginning of December 2004 we started to minister to the Lord continuously 24/7 and have not stopped since then, Hallelujah! The majority of our meetings are in English. However, we also have quite a number of meetings in Hebrew and also some in German, French and Spanish.

In addition to the watches taking place in our facility, we also go from time to time to various places in Jerusalem and other parts of Israel for specific on-site prayer as the Lord leads us.
